Deep purple shading to ruby, it opens with a finely knit perfume of cherry blossom and wild florals over red and dark fruit. Candied raspberry, cranberry, and black grape are lifted by rhubarb, McIntosh apple skin, with just a trace of dry cedar, and a curl of cinnamon.

On the palate, twin lines run from first sip to close. One is airy and luminous – raspberry, strawberry–rhubarb, a gentle maraschino glow and blossom; the other grounded and cool – stony mineral, dry cedar, a subtle amaro note and a whisper of anise. A lively, mouth-watering current keeps the line precise, while gauze-fine tannins shape without weight. The finish is long and composed, red fruit and blossom lingering over a quiet mineral bass as cedar returns.
